I really, really liked this book and it just got better chapter by chapter.
Heven is an outgoing, popular girl who is about to become the head cheerleader. Until one night, walking home from the library, she is attacked and left with scars down one side of her face. She can't remember the attack but feels that it was an animal. She is now a shy, timid girl who hides her face behind her hair and large hoodies. Until she meets Sam, who loves her for who she is.
With Sam by her side, she regains her confidence and becomes a stronger, braver person than she ever was, as together, they take on the danger that has been threatening Heven ever since her attack. But will she ever be safe?
This book was really fantastic. It was full of mystery and romance and kept me intrigued throughout. It was an original idea and totally unpredictable. I liked the authors writing style and really connected with the characters. I liked that the point of view changed between Heven and Sam and some even backtracked to show the same instant from both sides. I really liked the idea of the point of view of "The Hell" and "The Hope".
The last few chapters seemed to build to the mystery of the next book, even adding a new mysterious character. I am so looking forward to reading it.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this book to any fans of the paranormal romance genre and anyone else who just likes to read a "really great" book.
