My Soul to Steal is the fourth book in the Soul Screamers series. And just like the first 3, it didn't disappoint.

While Kaylee is still trying to learn to trust Nash again, after he let a hellion use her body and tried to Influence her to sleep with him all while addicted to demons breath, along comes his hot ex-girlfriend, Sabine. And she wants him back. There is a lot of jealously flying around between them and it attracts a hellion of envy - who wants Sabine. And Avari still hasn't given up on having Kaylee's soul to torture for eternity.

This is an incredible series. Its been a while since I read the first 3 books in the series and I've been dying to read this but just couldn't find the time. I was easily able to pick up where I left off as these books are written in such a way that you were subtly reminded of what came previously without being repetitive.

We are introduced to a new character Sabine. She is a mara, she causes and feeds from nightmares. She will not go down in my list of favourite characters but I couldn't help but like her. She has a great snarky attitude which makes her enjoyable to read. I feel she underestimates Kaylee when she first arrives but by the end of the book, though she may not like her too much, I feel she has to admire Kaylee. And she has made an enemy of Emma, which is interesting.

After more trouble from the Netherworld, they realise that they all need to stick together to protect each other, as the are all now open to possession from the Netherworld. This can't be easy for Sabine and Kaylee and I am intrigued to see how this will play out in Die for Me.

I liked the idea of the bracelets and 'puppies' that would protect them from demons of the Netherworld.

I would definitely recommend this book to paranormal romance lovers. This whole series will be going on my "to read again" list and I can't wait to read Die for Me.

"I've had it with both of you." He pulled his own bag higher on one shoulder and turned to me. "You let me know when you decide what the hell you want from me. I love you, and I miss you, and I'll be waiting, whenever you're ready. But don't spy on me again. Ever." I nodded miserably as he twisted to face Sabine.

"And you! You come find me when you're ready to be my friend, because that's all I have to offer right now. But as badly as I need someone to talk to, I don't need another complication in my life. And as for the two of you!" He stepped away from us, already walking backward toward the school entrance. "Work it out. Or don't work it out. But leave me the hell out of it."
