Stacking the Shelves #7

Sunday 10 June 2012.

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, (and filling our kindle) sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process! Hosted by Tynga over at Tynga's Reviews

Hi guys, some of you may have noticed that I haven't been around much this week, just dropping in now and again. Alex, my four year old son broke his arm on Wednesday and had surgery on Thursday so I spent a lot of this week in the hospital. Fortunately he is home now and back to himself, except for having a cast going from his hand to his shoulder. But he's handling it well.

Bookwise, I had a very exciting weeks and got some great books, especially Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel. I really loved Dearly, Departed and can't wait to read this one. I was also finally approved for titles on Edelweiss :)

So, onto the books, you can click on the book title for more information. These are all review books.

Pushing the Limits Rapture (Fallen, #4) The Color of Snow

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry (Netgalley)
Rapture by Lauren Kate (Random House UK)
The Color of Snow by Brenda Stanley (Blog Tour)

Dearly, Beloved (Gone With the Respiration #2) Defiance (Defiance, #1) Drain You

Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel (Netgalley)
Defiance by C.J. Redwine (Edelweiss)
Drain You by M. Beth Bloom (Edelweiss)

What did you receive this week. Leave you link in a comment so I can drop by :)

I was just thinking like half an hour ago that you'd been really absent and wondering if something had happened. Sorry to hear about Alex. Hope he heals quickly!

Edelweiss gives you books now??? I'll go request some in a second. Knowing my luck I won't get any of them so I'll try not to get my hopes up. It'd be great though since all the good titles go on there now...
Drain You looks so awesome. Happy reading!

Sorry about your son, but rarely do we go through childhood without a mark.

The books look great. Can't wait to hear about them. :-)

Nice list of books. I really liked Dearly, Departed but I don't know if I will read the second book. I sort of felt like the last one would have been fine as a stand alone but that's just me I guess. LoL

Poor Alex. I'm glad to hear he's handling it well though. I hope he gets well soon.

You got some great books this week. Pushing the Limits and Dearly Beloved are too books I'm really looking forward to reading. I hope you enjoy them! I was finally approved for a bunch of titles on Edelweiss too, Defiance is one of them. It sounds good, right? I can't wait to compare thoughts on that. :)

Oh ouch. Sorry to hear about your son. Luckily I never broke anything ever but I know my brother and a lot of my friends broke something at some point. Glad he is doing well. I loved Dearly, Beloved. I had to immediately start reading it and I think fans will be happy. It has a great happy no cliffhanger ending that I loved!!! I also have Pushing the Limits. Color of Snow and Defiance sound good too! Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
