Step into Shadow Falls, a camp for teens with supernatural powers. Here friendship thrives, love takes you by surprise, and our hearts possess the greatest magic of all.

Kylie Galen wants the truth so badly she can taste it. The truth about who her real family is, the truth about which boy she’s meant to be with—and the truth about what her emerging powers mean. But she’s about to discover that some secrets can change your life forever…and not always for the better.

Just when she and Lucas are finally getting close, she learns that his pack has forbidden them from being together. Was it a mistake to pick him over Derek? And it’s not just romance troubling Kylie. An amnesia-stricken ghost is haunting her, delivering the frightful warning, someone lives and someone dies. As Kylie races to unravel the mystery and protect those she loves, she finally unlocks the truth about her supernatural identity, which is far different—and more astonishing—than she ever imagined.

Teaser Quotes

"I'm in love with you, Kylie." He looked almost embarrassed by the admission. He jumped up, took one step away, then swung around and faced her again. "I don't expect you to say it back and I don't think this will change your mind about anything. But you deserved to know. And I needed to tell you because.....I've never felt this way before-for anyone."

"But I have to go. Thank you, Kylie Galen. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for teaching me to think beyond myself. Thank you for everything."

I've been wanting to read this series for a long time!

I started the first book but I wasn't really into it at the time. I only gave it about 20% though, which means I should probably try again. There were things I liked, but the obvious love triangle, and so early at that, didn't sit well with me at the time. Perhaps now I'd see it differently.

I have been eyeing this series for over two years now and I keep reading such great things and still haven't checked it out... I really need more time... so many books. Glad to see you back on the blog. Hopefully you are feeling renewed. My advice start saying no to tours and such and focus on reading what you want, that is what I am trying to do.
